My Personal Background

I am a proud, second-generation native Charlottean who was born to serve. Born on April 29, 1959, my family was members of Trinity Presbyterian Church, then charter members of Carmel Presbyterian Church in 1962. Later in my adult life, I was ordained and served as a Deacon in this church. 

As a child, my family moved to Fuengirola, Málaga, Spain, for two years, then traveled by car throughout Europe, learning about world cultures, before returning to Charlotte. I eventually purchased my family's homestead, living there for 8.5 years, before closing on my home in Monroe, North Carolina, on March 24, 2022, where I reside with my dog Lester.

 I am a Christian and blessed to be saved by my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  I am a member of Central Church in Charlotte, attending the 8:30 am Sunday service and other church services, then attending the 11:00 am Sunday service at Lee Park Baptist Church in Monroe. I have signed up to volunteer at the Community Shelter of Union County awaiting assignments.
