My Platform

My platform is straightforward:

I want to be your voice, present your collective opinions and concerns

in committees and on the floor of the North Carolina House of Representatives,

and fight for what you believe in.

Help me prevent government overreach and promote transparency in governance,

while utilizing a combination of checks and balances, public engagement,

and legal and ethical safeguards. 

My pledge is to serve our community for as many years as you will have me, and I will work tirelessly to make Anson County, Union County, and the State of North Carolina a better place to live and work; to support our loved ones and family.

Listen to you. As your NC House District 55 Representative,

I am focused on the well-being of our district.

In order to accomplish this, I must have your ideas and feedback.

My top priorities correlate with my Party's platform:

Republicans believe in liberty, economic prosperity, preserving American values and traditions, and restoring the American dream for every citizen of this great nation. As a party, we support policies that seek to achieve those goals. The platform often states that individuals' rights are derived from God, rather than from government. The platform has condemned what it considers to be attempts by "activist judges" to remove "Under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance recited in public schools. The platform's stance on certain social and moral issues, such as abortion and marriage, is often rooted in religious beliefs and principles.

Our platform is centered on stimulating economic growth for all Americans, protecting constitutionally guaranteed freedoms, ensuring the integrity of our elections, and maintaining our national security. We are working to preserve America's greatness for our children and grandchildren.

How do we achieve this for Anson and Union County?

1. Debate and fight against tax increases

2. Support Legal Immigration while fighting to eliminate "Sanctuary Cities",

and provide Sheriff Scott Howell (Anson County), Sheriff Eddie Cathey (Union County),

and all law enforcement agencies

with the resources needed to make our communities safe and protected.

3. Prevent government overreach and promote transparency in governance,

while utilizing a combination of checks and balances, public engagement,

and legal and ethical safeguards for our economic and community growth. 

4. Promote opportunities with a balance of industrial, single-family housing,

and business opportunities that will spur a strong and steadfast economy

for our District while encouraging a balance

between development and preserving our farmland.
